Winter is Creeping

Sadly, winter is creeping in on us. That's right, jean shorts and bathing suits will no longer cut it (sigh). Before we know it we are going to be curling up in our winter gear, and there is no running from it. I guess the next step is to accept this fact, deal with it and make it a positive. How you ask? Shop you shopaholics, shop! Every year designers are making fabulous new coats, and of course you can't be wearing the same jacket for another winter season, can you?! You need the newest and greatest. Come on, you deserve it!

Coats are great they keep us warm and cozy, but they aren't the only helpers! Gotta accessorize! Gloves, hats and scarves are also a girls best friend during these dark and cold winter days.

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Boo for rainy days, especially in Manhattan! Those days can be real rough, and wet! It can be a hard day to look cute, I mean our hair is one thing but what about our shoes? Mine are always a hot mess by the end of a stormy weather day, and I hate walking around in yucky wet shoes, but then again who doesn't? If you live in a city where walking is your main form of travel, or even if you don't I am telling you rain boots (or wellies) will be your new best friend! I knew if I was going to be living, and surviving in a city that I would have some necessities, but boy I did not realize how necessary they would be! Not only are rain boots going to keep your clothing and body parts from getting wet, but during the winter they will keep your feet warm and double as snow boots! Woohoo two in one usage baby!

Plaid = Fall

Don't know what to wear this fall? Stick to plaid! It is a year round go-to for me, but especially during the fall! The plaid shirts I own are uber comfortable, look great, and are incredibly stylish! Plaid looks great with just about anything, and on anyone! They come in several colors and are easy to just throw on. Pair your fav plaid top with jeans, leggings, or a skirt and tights and don't forget the boots! Its an easy and fashionable style, without looking like your trying too hard. Celebrities are always seen sporting their best plaid selves, so get on the band wagon! They never go out of style. so definitely splurge and get yourself one, or five!
